For over sixty years Durst has been at the forefront of the design and manufacture of equipment used in the production of display graphics. From the outset, our products have set the standard both in terms of quality and advanced technology, achieving many ‘firsts’ on the way.
Today, Durst is recognised as an international, ISO 9001 approved manufacturer of high-grade imaging systems to world class standards at our factories in Italy, Austria and our sister company, Durst Dice America in the USA.
The last decade has seen the digital imaging revolution, which Durst embraced with our Lambda large format digital photo imager. The excellent reliability, impressive output quality and the extraordinary productivity of the Lambda has led to its market leading status with over 700 units in use throughout the world.
2002 is another landmark year for Durst with our world-wide launch of the Rho 160 large format inkjet printer. The production standard, ‘direct to media’ Rho spans the imaging market from the professional photo lab through graphic display companies to screen and commercial printers.
