The new Durst Rho 205 UV flatbed inkjet printer had its first public showing at the Visual Communication 2003 Sign
Italia Exhibition in Milan, held on the 14th to 16th of November 2003. Both the recently introduced Rho160 Plus
and the brand new Rho 205 were exhibited on the Durst stand.

Durst held a press launch on the first day of the exhibition, which was attended by 18 Italian journalists and
photographers, representing 12 different publications. The Rho was initially covered for the press launch, leading
competitors to believe that it was a non-working model. Once revealed the Rho 205 proceeded to print constantly,
without faltering, throughout the rest of the show!

The show proved a great success for Durst resulting with two firm orders for Rho 205s and one for a Rho 160 Plus.
Delivery of the 205s will be achieved before the end of 2003.

Head of the Italian Sales Division. ≥It enabled us to highlight the different benefits of the two machines and, in fact,
resulted in both machines receiving equal interest from potential customers.≤

The launch of the Rho 205 follows successful Beta site testing. The two sites chosen in Italy have both resulted in
sales of the machine. The first site is Color Zenith in Milan, who are delighted with the machine, which has proven to
be extremely productive. The Rho 205 printed over 1000m2 of commercial work in its first two weeks of installation.
The other more recent site is Imaging Pro, near Venice, and they are equally satisfied with the performance of the
machine.

Both Rho160 Plus and the Rho 205 are designed to operate with the new Feeder/Stacker system, which will allow
unattended operation for sheet fed material, a unique feature for the Rho machines. For more information on any of
