Great interest in Durst photolab equipment at Focus Exhibition
February, 2005

Durst were delighted by the interest in their photolab products featured at the recent Focus Exhibition held at the NEC, Birmingham.

Matt Ashman, head of sales for Durst UKπs photo division, said: "Our stand was busier than it has been for many years. At times we actually had people queuing to get onto it. The show has resulted in many interesting sales leads and we even sold three machines off the stand on the first day"

"This is the first time I can remember Durst having three important new products on show at the same time," continued Matt. "We seem to have hit the nail on the head with these. The new products extend our market from the traditional photolab into a wider market. In particularly, our new Sigma 67 high speed scanner received a great deal of interest from professional photographers as well as photolabs."

Durstπs three new machines on show, the Theta 76 multi format lab system, the Sigma 67 scanner and the Print Terminal editing station, were working non-stop throughout the show, which helped to demonstrate their exceptional reliability and productivity. In fact, the Sigma scanner was kept really busy producing live scans, many of which were taken onto other manufacturersπ stands to be output on their printing equipment.

Durstπs comprehensive range of high output scanning and printing equipment for the photolab market comprises;

Sigma Plus and Sigma 67 high speed scanners, Theta 50/51 Lambda Lab, Theta 76 multi format, Zeta Plus Laser printer, Epsilon Plus medium format LED digital printer and the Print Terminal editing station.
