Expansion of the popular Theta range of multi format lab systems Durst has further widened the appeal of the Theta range by the addition of the new Theta 76 CS HS (High Speed). This has helped create a range that covers all your production needs whilst offering a wider budgetary platform. The range now comprises the Theta 76 CS, Theta76 CS HS, Theta 51 and Theta 51 Dual. The 76 CS is an economically priced “multi format” digital lab system, which features DFO technology for longevity of light source and low maintenance. The Theta 76 CS HS offers the same highly flexible, fully digital, mini-lab type operation as the 76 CS but has an even higher productivity. The 76 CS will produce up to 778 prints 7 x 5" (17.8 x 12.7cm) per hour whilst the 76 CS HS will produce up to 1100 prints 7 x 5" (17.8 x 12.7cm) per hour. Both machines are capable of producing prints sizes from 3.5 x 5” (9 x 13cm) to 30” (76.2cm) with a maximum length of 13ft. (4 m). Other functions include; autonesting, multiple print function and variable back marker. The superb image quality of 254 PPI continuous tone incorporates latent image compensation without loss of productivity. For fully automated production there is an optional automatic in-line cut and sort station.

Photo Book Station
This new, all-in-one, book binding system has all the major components for the production of digital photo albums/books. The simple one person operation allows the user to create 2–3 books per hour of sizes up to 20 x 20" (50 x 50cm) and books can vary from small to large sizes and from a few pages to 50+. It is available with wet glue mounting of pages or dry mounting using double adhesive tapes and the starter kit of consumables includes: glue or adhesive sheets, carton sheets, tail cup and album covers in different sizes.

Digital Album Creator
A complete software package designed for creating photo albums/books by professional photographers and laboratories. It is used to design double page albums for weddings, family events, personal portfolios etc. There are over 120 pre-designed layout pages with freely adjustable text and image forms and print sizes can be customised. The easy to use software includes most common image manipulation tools: rotation, density, contrast and saturation correction, colour, grey scale, sepia tones and negative effects, whilst the design tool provides alignment, zoom, selection, fill up and acquire colour text etc.

Print Terminal editing station for digital images and raw camera files
The recently improved Durst Print Terminal editing station will effectively handle digital image files supplied from a variety of different sources.
Designed for high volume labs, the Print Terminal is capable of loading in excess of 600 images (at 11.5 MB) per hour and will process digital image files in JPEG, TIFF, BMP and PhotoCD formats, from camera cards, CD or network locations. It will provide thumbnail viewing of jobs and Durst i2p Intelligent Analysis is included for instant scene correction – colour density and saturation. Real colour representation is thanks to soft proofing with ICC profiles.
Final files can be sent directly to output devices such as mini-labs or large format laser printers, not necessarily Durst equipment. When used with the Durst Sigma Plus you can achieve up to a 90% increase in productivity.
